Day 4
First, we wanted to thank everyone for their comments. We look forward to reading them each afternoon. Thank you for all of your prayers, so far everything has gone very smoothly. This morning we applied for Chungs passport. It was pretty painless, it was kind of like being at the DMV. After that was all done, we went shopping for baby clothes. We bought three outfits and a toy for $20.00. Not bad. We had hoped to finally make it to the park today, but it is a rainy day. Maybe tomorrow.

Karen-
It is so good to hear things are going smoothly for you. Have a wonderful journey and we'll keep watching and reading.
The thanks goes to the two of you and modern technology for enabling all of us to be able to take this journey with you. I'm living each moment in heartfelt celebration for the miracle that has taken place. Tanner's extended middle name should be Perfection.
I was wondering if you guys have an egg timer. It will be helpful in the wrestling that will take place between us all and wanting to hold and play with him. In a heartbeat grown women will turn into fighting cats. I call double time for myself as his Nana and for Missy as his Godmother. Perhaps it would be best for his limbs if we aren't all there at the same time, at least for the first time we see him.
At Chris and Kristen's child birthing class, the instructor told them not to even think about trying to keep grandparents away. They will bust down the doors to get to their grandchildren. I really had to laugh at this because although we may not do it literally, we certainly do in our hearts and thoughts.
To Tanner,
My heart is bursting with joy at the miracle of your birth and the earthly angel that God sent to care for you over the last 6 and 1/2 months. She has done well for your parents with her loving hands. We will always keep in mind what a special person she is and a part of what has brought you here. Soon you will be home with your sisters, and Grandma Joan and Grandpa Waterman will be singing with the choir of angels that all prayers have been answered. Of course, Grandma Joan may stop singing just long enough to tell you TO PUT YOUR HAT ON. Sorry, little one, but upon being welcomed home you will probably have an abundance of hats that tie under your chin. Winter is coming, you know.
Love to you, my grandson,
ba' ngoai
Cori and Karen,
I'm asking God to stop the rains long enough for that stroll in the park. The time is coming too soon that you will be seperated for a period of time. Sometimes the clock doesn't seem to move at all, and other times it moves too swiftly.
Love to you,
Mom

Yay! You guys all look so happy! I'm so glad all is going well. He is amazingly cute, and looks so happy and well cared for. Vaughn is really looking forward to meeting his new (3rd?) cousin in November. We'll be in town Nov 22-29, and can't wait to see Tanner!

Karen, Cori & Tanner,
We are so happy for you all. Tanner you are so lucky to have such wonderful parents. You are all beaming with joy and love. What a handsome little guy. His caretaker must be an angel as it sounds like she took very good care of him. Hopefully, the weather will get better and you can take your first stroll as a family. Can't wait to see you all again and to finally meet the angel you've been waiting for. We look forward to your updates.
Hugs and Kisses to all,
Love, "Grammy" & "Grampy" Adams
a few words from the South - you're gonna be needin' more than an egg timer to keep me away from Tanner when I get there. Sorry, that's just how we southerners are!! lol
love, Dee
You haven't left any updates, so either the rain has stopped and you're spending some time as a family outdoors or you're already sick of us women cat fighting over the baby. We promise to play nice and not detach his limbs.
Cori, we'll see you soon. I'm sure that it will be very difficult for you to leave your wife and son, and I will pray that their homecoming is sooner than planned.
Love,
Mom
You found baby clothes? we had the hardest time finding anything there.Ahhh Vietnam rain, nothing like it!
