Post from Buffalo

Karen is having trouble with the internet connection and asked me to post for her. Friday was yet another rainy day in Hanoi. I guess that's why they call it the rainy season.
And silly us didn't even think to bring an umbrella! She and Tanner stayed in the hotel all day. Apparently since I've left he won't even let her out of his sight. Poor little guy, as if I needed more to feel bad about, now he thinks I left him :(
Karen met Sandy and Randy today. Tad and Jorie are supposed to be in late Saturday. Tanner has regressed a little with his eating. He's back down to 4 oz. every three hours from six oz. every 4 to 5 hours. He may just be getting fuller faster now that he is getting 1/2 american formula with 1/2 Vietnamese formula. His eating habit changed when the formula changed. He's eating the same amount in one day, just less at a time.

Karen,

I'm glad Cori was able to update the blog and email. I feel better knowing that you and Tanner are doing fine. I'm glad Tanner is still eating well even if in small amounts at a time. Since Tannr misses Cori just think how excited he'll be when he sees Cori again when you both come home! Hopefully it will stop raining long emough so you and Tanner can get out of the hotel for a litle while. I hope your grass hut isn't leaking from all the rain!( very funny Cori)lol. We are thinking of you and wishing you a quick return. Love Dee

Karen & Cori,
I'm glad to see another update, I was getting worried. I assume Cori got home okay and Karen and Tanner are missing him!

Tanner - Your daddy loves you and I'm sure it broke his heart to have to leave you and mommy. You'll see him soon!

Take care! Love - Missi

Mr. Tanner you are too cute!! Couldn't blog from Italy, but now that I am home I will catch up. The photo of Tanner after his bath needs to be entered in a baby photo contest! Karen the one of you holding Tanner for the first time...I can't even think about it without crying. What a long awaited moment. Wish we could all have been there with you, but our thoughts definately were. Check Tanner over for angel kisses...remember Chelsea had one from Dad on the back of her head...sure there is one on Tanner from Mom. No need to fight over who gets him first. We always knew Dad held Chelsea first and I'm sure Mom still has Tanner wrapped in her arms...and she's not letting go!!!!

Aunt Karen,
I am glad to hear that you are both doing ok over there and that we don't have to send in reinforcements yet, but, ummm BABY? We all care about you and miss you very much, but i think i speak for everyone when i say that we are missing new baby pictures, so if you could work on bringing reliable internet connections to all of the third world nations of the world that would be great. i am very glad that you are both doing well and i can't wait to see you guys.
I love you both (even if without the new baby pictures)
